Feline Re:Nu Hypo Crunchies from the Veterinary Nutrition group are made from limited proteins and prebiotic fibre from wild venison, wild rabbit skin, fur and cartilage, and Australian crickets
Freeze dried to retain the fresh product’s nutritional value, taste, shape and size. These treats are Paw-fect for cats of all breeds, sizes, and ages.
- Species-appropriate fibre (chitin) from Australian crickets – The exoskeleton of insects like crickets, grasshoppers and beetles contains chitin, which has a similar structure to cellulose. It may act as a fibre source in the diet, helping to prevent hairballs and support gut health
- Rabbit cartilage can act as a prebiotic fibre for cats – Research has shown that cartilage is highly fermentable, affecting the gut microbiome. Rabbit skin and hair are poorly fermentable and provide necessary bulk to stools
- Omega-3 fatty acids from marine algae

The Veterinary Nutrition Group are specialists veterinarians, whose focus is on canine and feline health and wellbeing. Many dogs and cats today have chronic medical conditions, like obesity, diabetes, and osteoarthritis. The Veterinary Nutrition Group believe that nutrition provides the foundations for good health, and can improve not only quality of life, but also lifespan. At the VNG they believe dogs and cats deserve the best care, but so do the production animals that go into their food, and the wildlife affected by farming ingredients for pet food. They are mindful of the impact our pets have on other creatures, and will seek to minimise this as much as possible.
